Russia resumes shipments of thermal coal to Ukraine

Deliveries of thermal coal from Russia to Ukraine have been resumed, Ukraine's Acting Minister for Energy and Coal, Yury Prodan, told reporters in Kiev on Monday.

However, problems in conducting such shipments remain, Interfax reports. The deliveries are being conducted with interruption, the official said.

Last week, Interfax reported that Russia suspended the supplies of thermal coal to Ukraine. According to the source of the news agency, the shipments were suspended from November 21.
