The first international business summit will be held in Nizhny Novgorod on September 27-29. The event will be held in the new "be to be" format - business to business. The summit, according to organizers, will draw attention to the Nizhny Novgorod region and its innovative achievements.
The meeting of the organizational committee devoted to the preparations for the international business summit took place in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The meeting was headed by the governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev. Nearly 2,000 people will attend the summit: representatives of federal and regional authorities, business leaders, managers of small and medium-sized businesses, investors, analysts, representatives of federal, regional and international media.
Three directions of the work of the summit were approved: the plenary session, the exposition part and round tables. Conferences will take place in a completely new format of "be to be" interaction - business to business. The governor reminded that the region held "Russia United" forum not too long ago. As part of the forum, representatives of business organizations had the opportunity to discuss various issues on a single platform. This year, the bet was placed on international cooperation. The organizers work to ensure the new format of the event is held on the proper level.
"You've noticed that this year we've changed the name of the forum from "Russia United" to the international business summit. The change of the name has changed the essence: the main program and the content of the forum are being developed together with business representatives - the potential participants of the forum, including from abroad, " said the Governor.
According to Director of the Regional Center for International Trade, Pavel Solodky, holding major international events in the region is an important element of congress and exhibition activities and guarantees of success in the struggle for investors. "It's no secret that today there's a tough fight between the regions for investors, and the leading positions of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the field of attracting investment have to be defended and proven constantly. As part of forums, summits and international trips, necessary conditions are being created for the emergence of contacts, which greatly facilitates further dialogue with potential partners, because there is nothing more important in business than a personal contact," Pavel Solodky said.
