Vitaly Klitschko May Take Revenge for Younger Brother's Loss

Vitaly has already had such an occasion in his career before

South African heavyweight boxer Corrie Sanders has recently arrived in Moscow to participate in the 41st WBC congress. The boxer said in an interview to the Sport Express newspaper that he had rejected the WBO title which he won in March of the current year, when he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko during the second round of the fight.

Moving forward, Sanders wants to fight under the WBC. The rating committee of the organization has put the South African athlete on the third place on the list of heavyweight boxers. Sanders will have his first fight with American John Ruiz. Vitaly Klitschko, who has recently been defeated by champion Lennox Lewis (the fight was stopped after the sixth round after Lewis severely cut Klitschko's left eye), will hold a fight with Canadian heavyweight Kirk Johnson on December 6th.

The winners of these two fights will most likely meet either for the WBC champion title (if Lennox Lewis decides to retire), or for the right to become the official candidate for the WBC title. Other scenarios are possible as well, of course, but Vitaly Klitschko may have a real chance to take revenge for his younger brother Wladimir's loss. Vitaly has already had such an occasion in his career, when he knocked out American Ross Purity, who had previously defeated Wladimir Klitschko.
