Pregnant Woman's Preterm Baby Ripped Out From Her Womb in Ukraine

The police of Ukraine’s Dnepropetrovsk Region are investigating the hideous murder of a pregnant woman. A perpetrator ripped up the victim’s abdominal cavity and removed the immature baby from the woman’s body.

The pregnant woman’s body was found in the morning of August 27 in the yard of her private home. The body was found by the woman’s mother. The slaughtered woman, identified only as Tatiana S., aged 23, was eight months pregnant. Police officers said that the woman’s baby had been removed from her body.

The victim was not married. She was living with a three-year-old child and a boyfriend. The couple was expecting another baby and already bought a stroller.

The victim and some of her girl friends befriended several men, most likely former prisoners, who began dating Tatiana. However, police officers later said that the suspect murderer was most likely a woman. The investigation is underway.

A similar crime has recently been committed in the United States.

A 23-year-old pregnant woman was found dead in her apartment with her fetus cut from her womb, and police on Wednesday were trying to find the missing baby, which they said could have survived.

Authorities said Darlene Haynes was about eight months pregnant and the child would have needed immediate medical attention to survive, The Associated Press said.

On Monday, residents in her building on Southgate Street called the landlord to report a strong odor coming from her second-floor apartment. The victim’s body was found in a bedroom closet, police said.

Haynes’s body was so mangled and decomposed that police said they could not immediately identify her gender.
