Head Of The US Central Command Tommy Franks Will Conduct Negotiations In Tashkent

The head of the US Central Command, General Tommy Franks, who carries out general guidance of the US military operation against Afghanistan, on Tuesday will arrive in Tashkent to conduct negotiations with the Defence and Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the NBC television company, which said General Tommy Franks would possibly also meet Uzbek President Islam Karimov. On Monday the General he conducted negotiations with Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf in Islamabad.
