Iraqi military unit refused to follow orders of US command

Division 36 of new Iraqi Army disregarded orders of the US command to fight in Al-Falluja.
After this the Iraqi division was encircled and blocked by the US troops, Al-Jazeera reported. ”We refuse to fight”, said an Iraqi officer on the causes of the conflict.

He said that the division has Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds as soldiers, but they all support the people of the besieged town.

”We wanted to return in Baghdad, but Americans blocked us”, the officer said.
