Meeting of four presidents in Iran?

To expand the economic ties and to promote the regional development presidents and high level delegations of the four countries - Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are going to met in the capital city Tehran from 17-18 June.

Including political, economic, trade (banking exchange) and cultural cooperation, the four presidents will discuss and will try to come on a decision to devlop  a new transit route which will connect the four oversaid countries. In particular, the new proposed route will connect the CIS countries till the Iranian southern port.
 
An officer of the Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry told this correspondent that the visit of the uzbek president Mr. Islam Karimov is aimed to sign the final contract on a road link from Iran to Uzbekistan via Afghanistan.

The bilateral ties between the Iran and Uzbekistan is in much progress after the last year Iranian President's visit to Uzbekistan. Since 1992 Uzbekistan is having diplomatic relations with Iran and the president of the Uzbekistan visited thrice to Iran.
