Russian fleet seizes Caspian Sea

Anti-aircraft tactical exercises of the Russian Caspian Flotilla have been started in the Southern Military District. About 20 vessels take part in the naval maneuvers.
Among them are the Tatarstan, and Dagestan missile ships, as well as smaller Grad Sviyazhsk and Uglich missile boats. The Vologdonsk and Mahachkala artillery ships are also engaged
Crews will have to carry out a complex of missile and artillery shooting against sea, coastal and airborne targets from guns and artillery complexes as well. Maneuvering and cooperation within cruising and combat formation are being trained.
The sea range of about 1,500 sea miles is closed for civil ships for the sake of security.
As Pravda.Ru reported, the Caspian Sea is shared by five countries - Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Azerbaijan.
