According to the Turkish PM Binali Yildirim, 'as a result of the special operation, more than 2,000 square kilometres have been liberated in the north of Syria. At the moment local residents are coming back home, while control over the territory has been passed to the Free Syrian Army'.
However, 'in case Turkey faces a threat in the future, we may restore our military acts again,' Yildirim said.
As Pravda.Ru reported, the Operation Euphrates Shield was started in August 2016; and its main aim was liberation of the northern Syrian regions from the ISIS fighters.
The troops of the Southern and Western military districts will begin to return from Russia's southern borders to the points of their permanent deployment starting April 23
