Polish Consulate General shelled in Ukraine from grenade launcher

In Ukraine unknown people have shelled building of the Polish Consulate General in the city of Lutsk from a grenade launcher. The assault was registered at about half past midnight.

Now the territory is surrounded by patrol officers, the Security Service and police. Taking into account the size of a hole in the roof, it is supposed that they were applying a grenade launcher or another 'serious weapon'.
The Polish Vice-Consul Krzysztof Sawicki has confirmed the fact of shelling and called it to be a terror act. He noted, that they wanted namely to kill people. Fortunately, no one was in the building at the time.

Remnants of the RPG-22 anti-tank rocket launcher have been found. According to some data, shelling was carried out from the backyard.

The Consulate will be closed on 29 March. A criminal case under article of a terror act may be initiated. The Polish Foreign Ministry has summoned the Ukrainian Ambassador Andriy Deshchytsia.
