Guantanamo detainee reveals truth about tortures

Former Guantanamo prisoner has spoken out on the CBC TV Channel. He has revealed how employees of the detention camp were torturing him and his mother. He has been in the camp for as long as 14 years.

After arrival he was kept in an unheated cell for 3 days. They did not let him sleep and he had to stay awake for 22 hours a day. Later they made him drink sea water, strangled and manhandled him along with his mother, who also was in Guantanamo.

It was not reported what the man was arrested for. However, it is known that quite a lot of detainees are kept illegally in this jail, with unproven charge.

As Pravda.Ru reported, Barack Obama's Administration was promising to close this prison famous for its tortures for as long as 8 years. Donald Trump, the current US President, allegedly also does not want to carry this out, as he considers the jail to be an important tool against terrorists. While the US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has claimed recently that he would stand for maintenance of the camp on the basis of the US Naval base. 'It's just a very fine place for holding these kind of dangerous criminals,' he said.
