Iran’s military frightens US Navy yet again

The Pentagon claimed about unprofessional and dangerous acts of naval officers of a ship of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. On 26 November the US SH-60 helicopter approached the Iranian men-of-war in the Strait of Hormuz. Distance to one of them made up no more than 800m, and about 2km to another. Crew of one of the Iranian vessels decided to aim anti-aircraft guns at the American helicopter in order to prevent further approach. As it's reported, crew of the helicopter felt no danger, but decided to lurch into reverse. The Pentagon however has not explained what is regarded to be unprofessional. It would be strange though if crews of the vessels being approached by an American military helicopter showed no reaction. Nonetheless, the US military is sure that the incident may have negative consequences for Iran.

As Pravda.Ru reported, in August 2016 the Iranian military intercepted the US Nitze missile destroyer in the Strait of Hormuz.
