Americans let IS fighters go without striking a blow

The US military in Syria let 200 ISIS fighters freely leave the city of Manbij. The American troops explained their acts with threat, which civilians, allegedly led by the fighters, faced.

"Civilians were observed in the convoy intermingled with fighters in every vehicle. We didn't shoot. We kept watching," spokesman for the US-led coalition Colonel Chris Garver said. He also noted that there were family members of the fighters among civilians, as well as those held hostage by force.

According to Garver, the fighters are still followed. However the Colonel silenced location of the fighters group, under the pretext of confidentiality. He also refused to report whether they tried to return to Turkey, from which they had previously arrived to fight in Syria.
