Russia to challenge IPC’s villainy

The International Paralympic Committee announced its decision regarding participation of the Russian athletes at the 2016 Games. The Russian Paralympic Committee is suspended from international competition given the World Anti-Doping Agency's report of Richard McLaren, as Philip Craven, president of the IPC claimed at a press-conference on 7 August.

No accurate evidence was provided. In the McLaren's report it is asserted that at least 35 positive samples of the Russian paralympic athletes disappeared from 2011 to 2015. However, it should be noted that Russia's had less capability to access.

The Paralympic Committee of Russia intends to challenge decision on suspension of the Russian team from Paralympic Games 2016. The appeal has been already lodged to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. International sports federations have also stood against Philip Craven's decision.
