Ukraine regrets UN’s not recognizing LDPR as terrorists

The UN analysts counted up about 30,000 terrorists all over the world, however, there turned out to be no residents of the DPR and LPR on the list, which made the Ukrainian authorities quite sad.

The Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze claimed that the UNO analysts 'didn't take into account thousands of terrorists which act in the east of Ukraine'. 'Unfortunately, all those terrorists and representatives of terror organizations, whom we should oppose in the east of our country, have not been taken into account in this report,' Klympush-Tsintsadze noted.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has recently released a report on responsibility for killings in Ukraine since January 2014 to May 2016. In the document two groups are called to be parties of the conflict, these are forces who stand for unity of Ukraine, and groups which advocate necessity to federate. Thus, the conflict in Donbass has been actually recognized as being a civil war.

According to the UN data, 9,470 people have been killed, and 21,880 wounded in Donbass so far. The Ukrainian Security Service has been named among those responsible for killings.
