Egyptian journalist names his son Putin

An Egyptian journalist and interpreter Mo'men Mokhtar named his son after the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He posted his baby's photo on Facebook and wrote: "Here is my son Putin. Thanks God. God gave me a son and his name is Putin Mokhtar".

The journalist noted that "there are a lot of Vladimirs in the world and only one Putin. The surname of Putin becomes unique if it is used as a name".

The Mo'men Mokhtar's followers congratulated the young father and wished the baby health and happiness.
According to the Egyptian legislation, the journalist now may be called as "Abu Putin", which means "father of Putin".
