CIA destroys tortures report 'by mistake'

The CIA inspector general deleted the only sample of tortures report, it possessed.
Despite the fact that there are copies in other agencies, it is noteworthy that the law was violated by the agency which is responsible for laws observance within the whole agency.
People reacted with indignation at the deletion of the copy. 'It's breathtaking that this could have happened, especially in the inspector general's office - they're the ones that are supposed to be providing accountability within the agency itself,' Douglas Cox, a City University of New York School of Law professor claimed.
Moreover, it is reported that both uploaded and hard copies were deleted 'by mistake'.
As Pravda.Ru reported, the Senate report on tortures the CIA agents exercised, consisted of 6,000 pages and was dedicated to the CIA agents' work since 2001 to 2006. It had been also already noted that the whole report would not be revealed given the freedom of information acts.
