Why the West loves Erdogan no more?

The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the German Ambassador Martin Erdmann because of a satiric video about the Turkish President, which had been shown on the German TV. Altogether, a campaign against Erdogan seems to have been started in the West. Barack Obama has recently refused to host him at the summit on security. What does it mean?
Konstantin Simonov, First Deputy Rector at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation:
"The state of Erdogan is really not quite simple, as he thought that all of his acts would be supported by the Western leaders with enthusiasm only on the grounds of his trying to oppose Russia. And he should have believed that any acts against Russia would be perceived eagerly in the West. And, a person who conducts them, would get an indulgence. But in reality, it is not so, and Obama's stance on Erdogan is quite demonstrative, as Erdogan really behaves quite emotionally, radically, regardless of other Western politicians, really tries to set the NATO up. I believe that all these acts with the aircraft were provocative from the NATO's point of view. Despite seemingly simple reaction of the NATO, it was clear that it held no brief for the prospects of fighting for Turkey."
