John Kerry presents Russia with ultimatum

The US Secretary of State John Kerry claimed that Russia is at the crossroads. It should either implement the Minsk Protocol, or live under sanctions. According to Kerry, today Moscow faces a dilemma whether to continue devastating for the economy sanctions, or fully implement its obligations under the Minsk Protocol. On 17 March 2014 the EU had adopted a set of individual sanctions aimed to oppose threats of territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. Since then sanctions have been only strengthening and extended repeatedly. The US and EU demand Moscow to keep to the Minsk agreements and return the Crimea. However, many Russian experts believe that the West will not lift sanctions, even if Moscow goes the length of all the terms.
