Viatcheslav Kantor, President of the European Jewish Congress, told Vladimir Putin about sad plight of the Jews in the present-day Europe. According to Kantor, today 'the Jews are fleeing' because of a growing antisemitism and Muslim migrants.
In return Vladimir Putin invited the Jews to Russia. 'Let them go to ours!' the Russian leader said.
Putin noted that in Europe 'people are even afraid to put on a kippah in public places and try to conceal their nationality' and thus he called the Jews back to Russia.
The Mass Media reported that assaults upon the Jews had become more often in Europe. As a result, rabbis started mastering skills of self-defense and how to apply first aid to victims. The largest Jewish federation of the EU called the lawmakers to allow the Jews to carry arms for self-defense.
The strike was defensive in nature and came in response to three attacks on the US military in February
