Russia invokes tribunal for terrorists

Valentina Matviyenko, Chairman of the Russian Federation Council has offered to establish an international tribunal to prosecute terrorists. According to her, 'we should press for the establishment of an international tribunal to do severe justice upon terrorists and their accomplices, who carried out heinous crimes against humanity.'
Beside that, Matviyenko believes that it is necessary to 'enlarge the powers vested in special services, and law enforcement agencies in this field, as well as strengthen criminal responsibility not only for terrorist activity, but also for moral, financial, and any other support, or instigation.
Matviyenko called the citizens to be vigilant.
