Anzhi Makachkala had a goalless draw at home with Belgium's Genk, while Rubin Kazan got an important draw, one goal apiece, in Betis, Sevilla, in Spain. The home side got off to a roaring start, Didac Vilá scoring after 3' but R. Eremenko annulled the Spanish effort on 74'. All to play for back in Kazan.
