Hugo Chavez ready to pose topless like Putin for Naomi Campbell

One of world’s most anti-American politicians, the ardent builder of socialism, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, had an open conversation with U.S. supermodel Naomi Campbell.

The British supermodel currently tests her skills in journalism: she is a writing editor of GQ magazine. The February issue of this magazine will contain a lengthy interview with Hugo Chavez, some excerpts from which have already surfaced now. Most likely, the Venezuelan leader will not disappoint the general public. Everyone knows that Chavez never has to search for words.

It goes without saying that Campbell and Chavez touched upon the subject of Venezuelan president’s attitude to the United States on the whole and to George Bush in particular. Chavez did not say anything new on the subject. He still believes that the U.S. president is a complete nutter. As for the current political situation inside the United States, Chavez declared that the world may witness the decline of the American empire with the naked emperor at the head. To crown it all, Hugo Chavez stated that the White House was planning to assassinate him.

Campbell and Chavez did not talk about politics only. The model asked the Venezuelan president to name the most stylish world leader. Chavez chose Cuba’s Fidel Castro. "Fidel, of course! His uniform is impeccable. His boots are polished, his beard is elegant," Chavez said.

Hugo Chavez in his turn asked Naomi Campbell on her attitude to Prince Charles. "I like the Prince," he said. "Now he has Camilla, his new girl. She's not as attractive, is she?"

Campbell asked if Chavez would appear topless in photos as Russian President Vladimir Putin has done. "Why not ?" he said. " Touch my muscles !"

Campbell wrote in GQ that her interview with the president of Venezuela may seem to be controversial, but she intended to get a sense of “Hugo Chavez, the man.” "I found him to be fearless, but not threatening or unreasonable," she wrote. "I hope Venezuela's relations with America will improve in the immediate future."
