Japanese Invented Artificial Blood

Experts have already conducted experiments on animals and expect that the innovation can be used for people in two years already
A group of researchers from three universities of Japan developed a new formula of artificial blood that will protect from virus infection and will be compatible with any blood group while transfusion. Researchers from the universities of Waseda, Keio and Kumamoto developed the innovation. Experts from a laboratory of Waseda say that the new artificial blood type can be stored within a rather long period of time.

Japanese experts have already conducted experiments on animals and expect that the innovation can be used for people in two years already. Pharmaceutical companies have already evinced keen interest in the innovation. Japanese researchers used albumin, the blood serum protein. Albumin supports the volume of circulating blood. The researchers developed a compound, particles of which are smaller than haematocytes. The new particles may transport oxygen to human organs even in those cases when clots of blood get formed in blood vessels; the innovation will help cure insults.
