Decrease in oil refining reported in Russia

The volume of primary oil refining decreased by 2.4 percent to 3.46m tons from March 31 until April 6, compared to the previous week, the State Statistics Committee reported. The volume of gasoline production fell by 9 percent to 497,000 tons, and the volume of diesel fuel production decreased by 9.7 percent to 1.01m tons.

The volume of retail sales of gasoline reduced by 6.4 percent from March 31 until April 6, while stocks rose by 3 percent. The volume of sales of low-octane Ai-76 gasoline fell by 8.8 percent, and the corresponding figure for high-octane Ai-92 gasoline was 4.9 percent.

The volume of gasoline sales by wholesalers rose by 3.3 percent over the same period, and their stocks fell by 4.2 percent.
