The government also banned a North Korean trading boat from entering its territorial waters for six months and has shut off all chartered flights from its isolated neighbor, Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe said.

All North Korean government officials and ship crews are now banned from entering Japan, and Japanese are discouraged from traveling to the communist country, according to the AP.
