Colombia, Turkey discuss terrorism, drug smuggling and organized crime
Barco and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul discussed cooperation on issues including the fight against terrorism, drug smuggling and organized crime, Barco said in a short news conference after the meeting.
The two ministers also signed agreements on establishing a political consultation mechanism between Turkey and Colombia, waivers of visa requirements and commercial cooperation, the Anatolia news agency said, the AP reports.
Earlier in the day, Barco met with Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Anatolia said.
