Teen recovers after being scalped

A young member of an Idaho group is recovering after being &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/accidents/2001/10/05/17210.html ' target=_blank>scalped by another member, police said, apparently as punishment for her disrespectful behaviour toward women.

Police say that the victim, a 16-year-old girl, was tied up and had the crown and back portion of her scalp cut away. She survived and has undergone multiple operations.

"When I say this gal was scalped, she was truly scalped," said Bill Braddock, chief deputy of Boise County. "The top of her head, her hair, was completely cut off", writes the Globe and Mail.
