Adam Gadahn, a missing Californian man, is wanted for questioning as US officials believe with a highdegree of confidence, that he is connected with a threatening videotape found in Pakistan and has &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/2003/01/28/42649.html ' target=_blank>al Qaeda links.
Officials concluded that Adam Gadahn was the man on the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/accidents/21/96/382/14104_video.html ' target=_blank>video after speaking to his family in Southern California, showing the tape to captured al Qaeda operatives, and conducting weeks of technical analysis, the report said.
In the videotape, which was obtained and broadcast by ABC News,the masked man identifying himself only as "Azzam the American" said his fellow countrymen "are guilty", as Xinhua News reported.
Gadahn was born Adam Pearlman in 1978. In May, the &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/columnists/2002/07/26/33238.html ' target=_blank>FBI put him on a list of terror suspects.
A government official told CNN the FBI does not know where Gadahn is, and there are no charges pending against him but he is wanted for questioning.
