Michael Jackson faces accusing boy’s mother

The mother of the boy accusing Michael Jackson of molestation testified Friday she does not remember a private investigator telling her that he was working for one of the pop star's attorneys, but believed he worked directly for the singer.

The woman took the stand in a hearing at which &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/fun/2002/04/11/27540.html' target=_blank>Jackson's defense is seeking to exclude evidence seized from the private investigator's office on grounds of attorney-client privilege, as well as some items taken from his Neverland Ranch during a search, ABC News reported.

According to the BBC News, the 46-year-old star was accompanied by his sisters LaToya and Janet and his brother, who were all dressed in white.

In &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/20/91/368/13782_gays.html' target=_blank>court, he stared grim-faced as the 36-year-old woman, identified only as "Jane Doe", took the stand.

Mr Jackson denies 10 child &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/2003/11/26/51472.html' target=_blank>molestation charges. His lawyers want some evidence against him to be ruled out.

He and his family were greeted by cheers from the crowd and he waved to fans outside the Santa Barbara County courthouse.
