Aeroflot and Air France to sign agreement

Aeroflot and Air France are to sign an agreement today on Aeroflot's joining the SkyTeam Airline Alliance. Aeroflot head Valery Okulov, Air France CEO Jean-Cyril Spinetta and KLM CEO Leo van Wijk will take part in the ceremony.

As reported earlier, SkyTeam confirmed at the end of 2003 its decision to admit Aeroflot into the alliance. SkyTeam members believe that Aeroflot, which makes flights to 108 destinations in 54 countries, may become a member of the alliance.
