Turkish Tanker Detained in Georgia's Territorial Waters
Turkish tanker the Seve has been detained in Georgia's territorial waters.
Georgian border guards detained the tanker in Adzharia's border waters for breaking the international navigation rules, the Georgian Border Guard State Department informed RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
In compliance with Georgia's current legislation, the Turkish tanker can be imposed a fine worth 50-200 thousand laris (US $100-400,000).
