The number of victims of 'Asian pneumonia' has reached 103. Today there are 2671 cases of the sickness in 17 countries, according to the World Health Organization. That means the number of reported cases of 'Asian pneumonia' increased by 70 over the last 24 hour period. Moreover, in the last 24 hours, five people have died from the sickness: two in Singapore, two in Hong Kong, and one person in Canada.
There have been no cases of 'Asian pneumonia' registered in Russia. Nevertheless, the Russian Ministry of Health recommends putting off any trips to Southern Asia. In airports and train stations in Russia with arrivals from China, strict medical control of all passengers and other personnel has been imposed, say Ministry officials.
