Mongolia to Ask Foreign Countries for Help to Fight Atypical Pneumonia

The government of Mongolia is planning to turn to foreign countries for financial support to be spent on medical equipment and drugs necessary to fight atypical pneumonia, a source in the Mongolian health ministry told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

The Mongolian government decided to allocate budget means to take measures against this fast-spreading disease even though no cases of atypical pneumonia were registered in the country so far.

The health ministry, too, has instructed the population to wear protective masks and take prophylactic measures to prevent the disease from spreading across the country.
