A meeting will take place in Saint Petersburg on April 10-11 between members of parliament of NATO states and Russian State Duma deputies from defense, foreign policy and security committees. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the State Duma press office today, the meeting will be devoted to the military operation in Iraq, the problem of international cooperation in the struggle against terrorism, prospects of military reform in Russia and also political and military collaboration between Russia and NATO.
The meeting will feature First Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Liubov Sliska, Head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense Victor Ozerov, Presidential Plenipotentiary in the North-West Federal District Valentina Matvienko and NATO Deputy Chairman Pierre Lellouche.
