Launch of Proton-K booster rocket is scheduled for 25 July

On Tuesday the press service of the Russian Space Forces reported to the RIA Novosti correspondent that the Proton-K booster rocket with a military-purpose space craft on board was scheduled to be launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome at 19.13 Moscow time on 25 July.

On Tuesday within the framework of the schedule of the second pre-launch day works were carried out at the Proton-K heavy class booster rocket with the spacecraft on board which on 22 July was installed on the launching pad of the cosmodrome. Representatives of the space center emphasized that combat teams of the Russian Space Forces and specialists of the Khrunichev State Space scientific and production center were carrying out checks of systems of the booster rocket and the spacecraft.
