Russian and Georgian Security Council secretaries meeting

Russian and Georgian Security Council Secretaries discussed issues of fighting international terrorism. This was disclosed by Russian Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart. According to him, "the issue, concerning the fight against the international terrorism was at the top of the meeting agenda." Joint work in this direction of law enforcement bodies and secret services of the both countries was discussed in detail, Rushailo said.

"Meanwhile, the decision on a joint operation in the Pankisi Gorge was not taken," Georgia's National Security Council Secretary said.

Russian and Georgian Security Council Secretaries have a package of proposals for the Presidents of both countries, concerning the discussed issues in the economic, humanitarian and peacekeeping spheres, Vladimir Rushailo stressed
