69 bodies of 71 killed recovered in crash area of Russian Tu-154 and cargo Boeing in Germany

In Germany, in the area of crash of two airliners Tu-154 and Boeing, which collided many believe through the fault of Swiss air traffic control close to midnight on July 1, the search for bodies continues. RIA Novosti was told at Ueberlingen police department on Saturday that as before 69 out of 71 bodies have only been found.

The search is being carried out by more than 400 police, handlers of specially trained dogs, and forensic experts. The search area is a corridor about 30 kilometres long and 1 kilometre wide. Besides, about 30 divers are looking for dead bodies at the bottom of a small lake, Andelshofer Weier, which is not far from the site of the tragedy.

The police spokesman gave an assurance that the German search services would do everything in their power to find the bodies of all crash victims.

Close to midnight on July 1, in the area of Bodensee in Germany, at an altitude of 11,000 metres, a Russian Tu-154 passenger liner of Bashkirian Airlines and a cargo Boeing aircraft of the DHL international delivery company had collided in mid-air. The Swiss air traffic control service Skyguide openly lied about the Russian Tu-154's crew, trying to conceal its mistakes when handling the two liners. The Tu-154 was carrying 12 crew and 57 passengers -- 52 children going for a vacation and 5 adult child-minders. The Boeing had two pilots aboard.
