Russia, Czech Republic Sign Protocol on Delivery of Nuclear Fuel

Russian company TVEL and Czech company CEZ AZ have signed a protocol on the delivery of nuclear fuel to the Czech Republic from 2002 to 2006. This was spoken of today during an official announcement at the opening of the sixth St. Petersburg Economic Form. In accordance with the document, a part of the delivery to the value of around USD 200 million will be put on the account of Russia's state debt to the Czech Republic. The protocol was signed by Alexandre Nyaro, President of TVEL and Yaroslav Mil, General Director of Chzech energy company CEZ AZ in the presence of Chairman of the Federation Council Sergey Mironov and Czech Prime Minister Milosha Zemana.
