Kiev Condemns Albanian Extremists

The Ukrainian government strongly condemns the acts of violence committed by Albanian extremists in northern Macedonia and call for an immediate halt of all subversive activities which may entail unforeseeable consequences for the entire region, reads a Ukrainian Foreign Ministry statement released Saturday. Ukraine is seriously concerned about the new acts of violence perpetrated by Albanian extremists in northern Macedonia near the border with Kosovo, resulting in new casualties among servicemen, the statement points out. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry lays particular emphasis on the fact that Albanian extremists stubbornly refuse to renounce terrorism and violence, thus jeopardizing the prospects for an overall political stabilization in the region.
