Belarussian president Alexander Lukashenko hopes that good contacts will be established between the foreign ministers of Belarus and Russia. The Belarussian president said this at a meeting with Russian Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov in Gomel on Friday. In that Belarussian city the Russian minister participated in a session of the joint collegium of the Interior Ministry of the Belarus-Russia Union. President Lukashenko promised to the Russian minister backing in tackling any problems related to the Interior Ministry. In his turn, Gryzlov noted successful cooperation between the two countries' law-enforcement agencies. He informed the Belarussian head of state on the results of work of the collegium. Today Boris Gryzlov is leaving for Moscow.
