The Sunday Times reporter Yvonne Ridley has been passed to Pakistani authorities. British ambassadorial officers have contacted her in Islamabad, announced Prime Minister Tony Blair. Miss Ridley was detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan, September 28, on an alleged absence of identity papers, and suspected of carrying a commando mission. The Foreign Office flatly denied Afghan charges.
