Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Jacques Chirac of France had a telephone conference this afternoon to express shared support for action aimed to destroy terror dens in Afghanistan. Lasting half an hour, the conference included a detailed opinion exchange on bilateral anti-terror teamwork, and the many aspects of international contribution to the crusade. The two Presidents confirmed support of current action and further global efforts against international terrorism, which endangers all countries without exception, reports Sergei Prikhodko, second in charge of the Kremlin staff.
