Russian Deputy Prime Minister Flies To Usa October 4

Russian Deputy Premier, Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin flies to the USA in the afternoon, October 4, to participate in the meeting of G8 finance ministers and heads of central banks, Gennady Yezhov, Aleksei Kudrin's press secretary told journalists Wednesday. According to him, the main meeting of finance ministers and heads of central banks is to be held in Washington on October 6. The meeting will focus on the exchange of information on the problem of countering international terrorism financing and on developing proposals of joint actions in this sphere. Before the meeting Kudrin is to participate in the Russian-American business council and to meet US Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and Secretary of Treasury Paul O'Neill Friday.
