Albanian gunmen have carried out several armed acts of provocation in the area of the town of Tetovo in North-Western Macedonia, said representatives of the Macedonian police on Wednesday. Late Tuesday evening Albanian gunmen opened fire several times in the area of Tetovo. The Macedonian security forces did not reply to these acts of provocation. On the same day a group of Albanian extremists seized a regular bus following on the Tetovo-Jajince route. After interference by OSCE representatives, the bus and its passengers were set free. Apart form that the house of a local resident was blown up in Tetovo. Luckily, nobody was injured in the blast.
The head of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, confirmed the death of Major General Vladimir Zavadsky.
