Russian Border Guards Registered 40 Powerful Explosions In Afghanistan

Russian border units have registered approximately 40 powerful explosions in the immediate proximity to the Tajik-Afghan border. According to a spokesman for the press service of the Tajik department of the Russian Frontier Service, powerful explosions and small arms shooting were heard throughout Thursday at the distance of approximately 5 km from the joint of the border sectors controlled by the Panj and Moskovski border units and near the Bedani Bedak, Panj and Tugul border stations. Russian border guards who watched the clashes between the Afghan opposing sides, stated that they had no information concerning damages or casualties.
