Prime Minister Of Lebanon Rafiq Hariri To Meet Russian Leaders Friday

Prime minister of Lebanon Rafiq Hariri, who is now in Russia on a working visit, will meet on Friday with Russian leaders. He is expected to be received by president Vladimir Putin. His meeting with prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov has also been planned. The sides will discuss questions of bilateral relations, the struggle against international terrorism and Middle East settlement. Hariri believes that to win the war against terrorism it is necessary to settle the Arab-Israeli conflict. This will help uproot terrorism and solve the problem fundamentally. The beginning of the world campaign of combating terrorism prompts the need to consult Russia which is playing an important and constructive role on the world scene, Hariri told RIA Novosti. The creation of a free trade zone between the two countries will also be discussed. Now Lebanon import goods worth six billion US dollars. It has a great potential for the development of cooperation with Russia.
