During the visit to Moscow by Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on November 4-6, a framework agreement will be signed on the construction of an atomic power plant in India with the participation of Russia. Minister of Atomic Energy Alexander Rumyantsev told reporters about this on Friday. According to him, that will be only a framework agreement, while all details, including the term of the construction, the number of the plant's units, the cost of the project and other things will be specified during the conclusion of the contract. At the present time, according to Rumyantsev, the site for the construction of this atomic power plant has been already prepared in India. He also said that Russia's participation in this construction remained open so far. Among the possible variants, the sides discussed both joint construction of the atomic power plant and the use of Russian equipment.
