Polish President Arrives In Tbilisi On Two-day Official Visit

Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski arrived in Tbilisi on Monday on a two-day official visit. The press centre of the Georgian Foreign Ministry said that the official part of the visit would start with a one-on-one meeting between Mr. Kwasniewski and Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze. After this, the two presidents will hold high-level talks, and thereafter sign a number of documents. Tomorrow, the Polish president is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the Georgian parliament. After the meeting, he will visit the office of the Georgian International Oil Company, where he will deliver a speech at an event organised by the International Research Centre West and East. On Tuesday, Mr. Kwasniewski will take part in a meeting of Georgian and Polish businessmen. In the evening, he is scheduled to meet Catholicos and Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II. In the morning of November 14, Mr. Kwasniewski will visit Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, and will give an interview with the National Television. After this, the president will leave for Yerevan, the Foreign Ministry press centre said.
