Another Terror Act In Israel

One man died and 22 were wounded on Tuesday in a terror act in the centre of the Israeli town of Afula. The act took place near the local bus station when three Palestinians opened fire on passers-by. Two terrorists were killed in the return fire from Israeli police. Obviously, the third terrorist managed to escape. In this connection, spokesmen for the Israeli right-wing parties criticised the authorities' decision to withdraw army troops from the Palestinian town of Jenin on the Western bank of the Jordan river. One version suggests that the terrorists had arrived in Afula from there.
